Hello
I have AVG installed in my pc

suddenly yesterday a new icon appeared with this program ( total security warning)
it signals more than 40 infections (no one with AVG) and it asks for an activation
I would like to delete TSW and leave AVG but it seems impossible

any suggestion?

Well that sounds like you got hit by a misleading security alert generated by the fake spyware remover Total Security. What about a HJT log of your system getting checked? Get to our HJT Section and please follow the given instructions there.
